Bold AGI promises grab attention but miss the real story.

Yes, it’s mostly marketing. Big, bold claims grab attention. The promise of AGI positions OpenAI as the leader in the AI space, but the real story in 2025 will be the killer application of large language models. Predictions of AGI in 2025 are more about hype than reality. Instead of achieving Artificial General Intelligence or the Singularity, we’ll see narrow AI solutions integrated into productive chains that excel at specific tasks without becoming generally intelligent.
