Lutz has already looked at several areas being impacted. IDE, or how we code, has been changed. Finance, or how we underwrite risk, has been changed. E-commerce is being changed by AI in how we sell and shop, though it’s not yet clear who is driving whom in that space. He mentions that many industries will be impacted by AI agents, and his research aims to understand how far different sectors have evolved in response to this transformation.
