AI summarization is neutral; human judgment and action remain essential.

We are not doomed. Human agency remains essential. Just because something sounds smart doesn’t mean it is smart. We humans are the ones who must evaluate and act upon any plan or threat. We humans are needed. Summarization via AI is, in itself, neutral. What matters is how we, as humans, choose to use it. Language models can synthesize scattered theories into clear action plans, which can be both enlightening and unsettling, but humans must decide what to do with them.
