Cash flow and operational impact matter more than AI hype.

Three key learnings that apply to any industry, not just healthcare. First, humans plus AI will change the industry, not AI alone. Second, cash flow matters, not AI hype. Third, the real AI revolution is operational. As one leading investor said at the conference, ‘I don’t really care whether they use AI as long as they deliver the bottom line results.’ It’s not about hyping AI as such. It’s about the impact, and to create impact we will need humans. AI plus humans making healthcare teams materially more effective is the massive change, not AI replacing people.
