Creation is now cheap; curation and courage become the scarce skills.
AI inverts the economics of creation. In the old model, creation was expensive. Research, storyboarding, scripting, production all cost time and money before you knew if the idea was any good. Now creation is cheap, which means you don’t end up with one concept. You end up with fifty. The craft doesn’t vanish, it migrates. The center of gravity moves downstream into selection, refinement, and courage. Knowing which of the fifty concepts is actually good, and being willing to fight for it, becomes the scarce skill.
