AI detects invisible patterns in healthcare data to prevent emergencies.

AI takes data and finds tiny clues that you and I might not see. At Google Health, we worked with electronic health records to predict whether somebody would end up in an emergency room six months before it happened. The AI sees the writing on the wall in the data. Roughly one third of people in hospitals shouldn’t be there if we would have just known. The computer gets trained on data and figures out those tiny clues to predict preventable hospitalizations.
