LLMs go beyond prediction to transform how humans interact with technology.

Traditional AI is used for tasks like recommending movies on Netflix or detecting spam. In healthcare, traditional models predicted disease deterioration or helped detect cancer. LLMs can be used for those same tasks formerly done by traditional models, and foundation models might have better predictive accuracy and work with multimodal data. However, the major difference is that LLMs change the way human-AI interaction works, allowing a new way to interact with technology rather than just making predictions.
