User experience and distribution trump data or model advantages
I don’t think there’s a silver bullet or secret IP that guarantees you always win. On the data side, we stream live conversations from big companies in a secured way. We have hundreds of millions of proprietary conversations that competitors starting today don’t have. But more important than data moats or technical moats is user experience and distribution. I love products that take 10 minutes to learn but years to master, like Shopify or Excel. If you build something easy to start but with depth, solid brand, and good distribution, that matters much more than some little advantage in the back office models.
