Why can't current AI bots provide authentic responses from real people like politicians or celebrities?

Databases and models cannot replicate real human conviction and context

AI bots work from a database and trained model, not from the person’s actual thinking. For example, a Biden bot has to choose between opinions Senator Biden had 20 years ago versus President Biden’s current views on China. Biden himself would answer based on his own weights and biases, but the bot cannot create the same authentic response. The model knows what happened in the past and has historic conversations, but deciding which answer is more authentic in the current context is hard. It doesn’t know what’s happening in the person’s brain.
