The practical move is to avoid overcommitting and to build toward agents with persistent memory rather than one-shot chatbots.
The right answer is not to overcommit to any particular technology at a particular moment, because if the singularity idea is at all real, we’re all going to have to pivot and re-pivot. What’s coming is agents with persistent memory that reason on that memory and build their own world model as they go. An agent that remembers everything it ever did feels less like a query loop and more like a personal assistant you actually have a relationship with.
